Owner's Introduction

As the president/director and owner of Live Well Home Care, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Melissa Guthmiller and I am beyond excited to use my years of experience to do what I do best, care for people. I have over 17 years of experience as a care giver, for the elderly and disabled.

Live Well Home Care LLC was locally formed in 2015 and is locally owned. We are a growing business aiming to contribute to the needs of the elderly and disabled population in our community. Whether it’s a little help you need or more, we get it and are here to help!

I am thrilled and look forward to a bright future in serving my community in helping people stay in their homes and thrive!

Our Philosophy

Caring for our clients as they were our own family, is the philosophy of Live Well Home Care. We believe that everyone has the right to remain in their homes where they feel safe and most comfortable for as long as possible. We want to make that as easy as possible for everyone.

Our Core Beliefs

Honesty & Integrity – Do the right thing, always

Flexibility, Trust & Reliability

Respect for Human Dignity – Communicate openly and honestly

Service with Passion – Care and serve from the heart, and remember why we are here

Your Personal Plan of Care

A plan of care is created with you on admission and updated as needed to ensure that you are receiving appropriate services. The plan of care is based upon your needs and goals, physician orders for medication, care, and services.

Business Inspiration

When people ask me why I do what I do, the answer is simple for me. Helping people in need is my true passion, no matter what stage of life they are in.

My grandmas and my sister in law are a major reason why I started Live Well Home Care in 2015.

In 2014 my grandma was suffering from cancer, and although we were able to respect her wishes and keep her home until the end, as I sat by her side I couldn’t help but think of how great it would be if we had some extra help as her disease progressed.

My other grandma is 85 and is just as busy as a 60-year-old. My hopes are that with this business on my side, I will never have to take her out of her home where she feels most safe and comfortable.

My sister in law has cerebral palsy and can not do most things on her own but because of Live Well, she is able to live independently.

Best decision I ever made to work for Melissa! Awesome place
to work and wonderful people to care for! I love it!
